VentureGrid Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and VentureGrid ("VentureGrid," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the VentureGrid website, platform, and associated services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Platform.
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
- 1.1 You must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or meet the minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction, and have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- 1.2 “Mentors” refer to individuals, including Users who have registered on the Platform to offer professional consultation services to Users through Sessions, or other service offerings. Mentors must meet professional eligibility standards, including but not limited to experience and LinkedIn verification. We reserve the right to verify credentials and reject or remove Mentors at our discretion.
- 1.3 You must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for all activities under your account and must keep login credentials secure. You must notify us within 24 hours of any security breach or unauthorized access.
2. Use of Services
- 2.1 "Services" refers to the Sessions, or other service offerings, and any other services provided by Mentors to Users via the Platform.
- 2.2 Sessions may take place over video, audio, or chat—whichever method the parties choose. VentureGrid does not record sessions.
- 2.3 All materials uploaded by Mentors remain their property. By submitting materials, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use and display them for Platform functionality.
- 2.4 Users may leave reviews after sessions. We may moderate or remove feedback that is offensive, misleading, or violates these Terms.
- 2.5 You may not enable non-users to access the Platform or Services via your account.
3. Payments, Fees, and Refunds
- 3.1 Services must be paid and processed via the selected third parties service provider. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with such third parties' terms and applicable laws.
- 3.2 All purchases are final. No refunds or cancellations are available at this time. Users must carefully review booking details before confirming.
- 3.3 All consultation fees are exclusively set by Mentors and displayed on their profiles. We have no involvement in determining the amount Mentors charge for their Services
- 3.4 We may introduce platform fees or commissions in the future, with proper notice.
4. Conduct, Confidentiality & Non-Circumvention
- 4.1 Sessions are confidential unless agreed otherwise by both parties. Users must respect and protect all shared information.
- Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
- Soliciting users off-platform for services or payment
- Circumventing the Platform to avoid payment or use
- Creating multiple or fake accounts
- 4.3 Users may not reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Platform or its systems.
- 4.4 Violation of these rules may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- 5.1 The Platform is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
- We do not supervise, direct, control, vet, endorse, or guarantee any Mentor Services, their quality, legality, suitability, accuracy, or reliability.
- Any contract, payment arrangement, or reliance you form with a Mentor is solely between you and that Mentor.
- You acknowledge and accept full responsibility for selecting Mentors, evaluating their competence, and relying on their advice. VentureGrid disclaims all liability arising out of or relating to Services.
- 5.3 We do not offer legal, financial, or medical advice. Any decisions made based on Platform usage are solely your responsibility.
- 5.4 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. If liability is imposed, our total aggregate liability is limited to $500.
- 5.5 You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VentureGrid, its affiliates, directors, officers, and employees from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Platform, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) any infringement by you of a third party's rights.
5.2 The Platform is a marketplace that merely facilitates introductions between Users and Mentors. Mentors are not employees, agents, or representatives of VentureGrid, and any services, advice, or deliverables they provide are outside the scope of the Platform's offerings.
6. Intellectual Property
- 6.1 We retain all rights to the Platform's design, software, branding, and related materials. Users may not reproduce, frame, or misuse any portion of the Platform.
- 6.2 You may reference your participation on the Platform (e.g., "Top Mentor on VentureGrid") but must not falsely represent affiliation or misuse brand marks.
7. Termination and Account Controls
- 7.1 We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion without notice if you breach these Terms.
- 7.2 Users may not delete accounts independently at this time. Requests must be submitted via support.
- 7.3 Records of account usage may be accessed to investigate violations or comply with legal obligations.
8. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
- 8.1 In case of disputes, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, binding arbitration or mediation will be pursued.
- 8.2 These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singaporean courts.
9. Third-Party Services
- 9.1 We integrate with services like LinkedIn, Google, and Calendly. By using these integrations, you accept their separate terms and privacy practices.
- 9.2 We may collect and store relevant data from those services to improve user experience. You consent to such data collection and processing.
10. Updates to These Terms
- 10.1 We may modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified via email and in-app alerts.
- 10.2 Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms.
